We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

Behind The Art
Whatever Paul means here, I don’t think it is the simple notion that we will see a happy conclusion to every challenging event in the lives of believers. Some silver linings, I suspect, are only revealed in Heaven. Yet, we believe that in all things, He is working for good – however imperceptibly, however mysteriously. We see that, like Joseph in the well, or the thief on the cross, we were never really abandoned.
