Behind The Art
It was originally a family in Virginia Beach who suggested I do both the Airmen’s and the Seamen’s Prayers. They have two sons, one in the Navy and the other in the Air Force.
An interesting, minor observation: from time to time I meet seminarians or members of the clergy who have come to their vocation from a career in the military. Individual reasons, of course, will vary, but one word is helpful in understanding this transition: “service”. —Michael
